Two Longwood Doubles Pairs Land on 2025 All-Big South Women’s Tennis Teams

Rizvanova, Gnilozubova, Magia, van Eijkelenburg named first, second team, respectively

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Longwood women's tennis doubles pairs of senior Karina Rizvanova and junior Elizaveta Gnilozubova as well as freshman Alexandra Magia and sophomore Feline van Eijkelenburg have been named to the 2025 All-Big South Team at first- and second-team doubles, respectively, the league announced Wednesday.

Also part of the Big South All-Academic Team is van Eijkelenburg, who carries a 3.878 GPA as a physics major.

Rizvanova and Gnilozubova played to a 12-4 overall record in doubles, including going 9-3 in the spring dual season, all from the No. 1 position. The duo was 4-1 in Big South action, earning victories over Radford, UNC Asheville, Presbyterian and Charleston Southern.

Magia and van Eijkelenburg went 9-6 overall in doubles on the year, finishing 7-6 in the dual season, all at No. 2 in the lineup. The pair was 3-2 in conference with wins over Radford, UNC Asheville and Charleston Southern.

Magia earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors three times this season — March 26, Feb. 19 and Feb. 12.

Longwood finished the season 7-12 overall and 0-5 in the Big South.
