HOW IT HAPPENED:
The first quarter saw Longwood record three shots to Temple's zero but the game remained scoreless. The second quarter had Temple record nine total shots and slot home the first half's lone goal through Oerlemans after a penalty corner.

Temple picked up where they left off in the second half, scoring less than two minutes into the third quarter and doubling their lead. The Lancers put pressure on the Owls in the later parts of the game, but Molley Frey was able to make five saves to push Temple to victory.

WHAT THEY SAID
 "Overall today we had so much growth since Friday's game and the season so far," said
Miranda Rigg following the Sunday afternoon matchup. "We had some good moments of team hockey and I'm proud of the way we fought the whole game. Had we finished a few of those opportunities, we come out on top next time. I am looking forward to all the pieces coming together as we move forward.

The Owls continue their perfect streak against Longwood, having won all four matchups dating back to October of 2006

Temple recorded 10 shots total, nine coming in the second quarter, to the Lancers eight overall. The Owls edged the Lancers in shots on goal 6-5.
