High School: Four-year letterwinner at Fuquay-Varina High School…helped the program win the North Carolina State Champioship in 2018…a second-team all-conference selection…captained the team as a senior…broke out as a junior, scoring a conference-leading 19 goals with three assists…had two goals and two assists as a senior before season was cut short due to COVID-19…as a sophomore, scored six goals with three assists…a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Student Council and Student Ambassadors…also a Junior Marshall…volunteered with NHS and SHS, including service at the Main Street Kitchen and Clothing Closet.
 
Personal: Born Katelyn Elizabeth Laux…daughter of Brian and Liz Laux…has three siblings, Natalie, Lauren and Gracen.
