A native of Palmyra, Pa., Miller comes to Farmville after a successful career on the Spiders’ forward line where she was named an All-Atlantic 10 performer each season on campus and was rewarded with a spot in the Victory Sports Tour/NFHCA Senior Game after the 2017 campaign.
Miller also earned NFHCA All-South Region honors her junior and senior seasons while playing for Team USA at the U21 PanAm Games in 2016.
Throughout her career she started 59 of her 78 appearances scoring six goals and assisting on 16 more. Miller’s production went up each season as she collected a career-best seven helpers in 2017 as one of three team captains, good for tops on the team in assists.
Before moving west from Richmond, Miller also spent two seasons as the head coach for the Panthers United Field Hockey Club as well as one season with the United States U25 Developmental Team. During her time with Panthers United, Miller assisted players in U19 and U16 age groups advancing players’ skills and technique.
