Biography
2020-21: One of eight Lancers to start all 10 games…played in an attacking midfield role, contributing one goal and an assist…attempted 16 shots, the fourth most on the team…her goal came in a 3-0 win against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 28)…assist came in a 4-0 win against Winthrop (March 28)…played every minute of the Big South Championship semifinal showdown against High Point (April 13)…also played 90 minutes against Radford (April 3)…received the Big South Commissioner’s Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the 2020-21 academic year…graduated from Longwood in May of 2021 with a degree in sociology.
2019: Enjoyed a breakout junior season, scoring five goals and totaling 11 points, both career highs…named to the All-Big South second team…tied for second on the team in goals, trailing only classmate Kennedy Culbreath’s and senior Emilie Kupsov’s six…all five goals came in Big South play, placing her tied for sixth in goals per game in conference play…started all 17 games and led the team with 1,393 minutes…recorded her first career multi-goal game in a 4-0 shutout over Big South foe Hampton (Sept. 25)…scored the game-winner in a 1-0 shutout over eventual Big South champion Radford (Oct. 2)…that go-ahead goal came in the 33rd minute on an assist from classmate Kennedy Culbreath…also added goals against Campbell (Oct. 16) and UNC Asheville (Oct. 19) and an assist against Howard (Sept. 2)…helped Longwood to a 3-1 record in games she scored and a 4-1 record in games she had at least one point…earned Longwood All-Academic Team honors.
2018: Played in all 18 games and made two starts...scored three goals on the season, two of which were game-winners…scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Big South opponent Winthrop (10/20)...also netted the game-winner in a 3-0 victory against Big South foe Campbell…helped the Lancers tie the game in a 2-2 draw against Charleston Southern…collected one assist on the team’s victory over Hampton 5-1...named a Longwood Scholar-Athlete…named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
2017: Appeared in 18 of 21 games as a true freshman…started the first game of the season against Howard (8/20)…scored the first goal of her career in a 3-1 win at Big South foe UNC Asheville, giving Longwood a 2-0 lead in the 72nd minute (10/14)…played at least 30 minutes in seven of her appearances, including a career-high 41 in a 2-1 win at Marshall (8/27)…a Big South Presidential Honor Roll selection…also a Longwood Scholar-Athlete.
High School: Four-year letterwinner and starter at Forest Park High School...led Forest Park to conference titles in 2014 and 2016...named to the All-Met first team by the Washington Post...also an all-region first team pick in the 6A South classification and an all-state second team pick...tabbed conference player of the year, and finished runner-up for Region 6A South Player of the Year as a junior...scored 22 goals and dished 11 assists as a junior...that followed a six-goal, three-assist campaign during her sophomore year and a four-goal season as a freshman...helped her Annandale United FC squad to the 2016 VA State Cup Championship and a 2016 NPL semifinal berth...helped push Annandale United to the 2015 state finals...also advanced to the finals of the 2016 Region 1 Champions League...won the PWSI Presidents Day Showcase Championship in 2015...earned the Academic Excellence Award all four years...an annual volunteer at vacation bible school...also volunteered with the TOPS Soccer for Disabled Children program.
