Biography
2019: Enjoyed a breakout junior season, earning All-Big South honorable mention honors after tying for the team lead with six goals, 14 points and 47 shots…started 16 of her 17 games…scored in six different contests, helping Longwood to a 5-1 record in those games…helped the Lancers go 6-1 in games in which she had at least one point…scored three goals and dished her two assists in Big South play…had two of her goals count as game-winners, including the opening strike in the 3-0 win against USC Upstate (Oct. 12) and the go-ahead score in a 2-1 road win at UNC Asheville (Oct. 19)…also contributed an assist on Longwood’s other goal in the win against UNC Asheville, feeding junior teammate Madison Lockamy for the opening strike…her game-winner against the Bulldogs came 102 minutes into the game in double overtime…dished the assist on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory against Radford, also to Lockamy (Oct. 2).
2018: Broke out as a sophomore, playing in all 18 games while making 13 starts…set career highs with three goals, four assists and 10 points…two of those goals were game-winners, including in a 2-0 win against Presbyterian (9/29) and a 2-1 road win at High Point (10/23)…the winner against High Point came in the 104th minute in overtime on an unassisted strike from the top of the 18…also added another goal in a 4-3 win at Howard (9/2)…her four assists tied senior Kathryn Miller for the most on the team…also ranked in the Big South’s top five in assists…demonstrated her aggressiveness with a career-high 23 shots, more than twice as many as her freshman campaign…registered at least one point in three of her final five games...named a Longwood Scholar-Athlete.
2017: Saw extensive action as a freshman, playing in 20 games with a pair of starts…logged 533 minutes of action, predominantly as a forward…dished a pair of assists, both on game-winning goals…the first of those went to Sheyenne Stretz for her game-winning strike in the 1-0 victory at UNCG (9/8)…the other went to fellow freshman Madison Lockamy in the 3-1 win at UNC Asheville…played in eight of 10 Big South games during the regular season…also saw action in the Big South semifinals against Liberty and the Big South championship game against High Point…named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll…also a Longwood Scholar-Athlete.
High School: Played for the Fredericksburg Football Club in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL)...also lettered one year at Massaponax High School, earning all-conference second team honors that season...received the academic excellence award in 2015 and 2016, as well as an academic letter...volunteered at the Fredericksburg Food Bank.
Personal: Born Kennedy Lauren Culbreath on June 24, 1999...daughter of Lawrence and Angela Culbreath...has a brother, Lawrence...father, Lawrence, played basketball at Michigan Christian College...aims to become an FBI agent after college.
