2018: Started all 18 games, extending her games started streak to 39 consecutive contests… made a shift into the midfield for part of the season while also playing a role as outside back in Longwood’s powerhouse backfield…contributed significantly to a Longwood defense that allowed the Big South’s third-fewest goals in conference play…helped engineer four shutouts and 12 total games allowing one or fewer goals…helped Longwood end the season on a run of eight consecutive games with fewer than two goals allowed…played 1,379 minutes, fifth most on the team…played at least 90 minutes six times…dished three assists, the first helpers of her career…two of her assists were equalizers, including in a 2-2 draw against UNC Asheville (9/19) and a 2-1 win overtime win against High Point (10/23)...named a Longwood Scholar-Athlete.

2017: Emerged as a key contributor in the back half of the field, starting all 21 games and earning All-Big South second team honors…one of seven Lancers to start all 21 games in 2017…played at least 70 minutes nine times, including in the final five games of the season…ranked fifth on the team in minutes played…helped Longwood’s defense put together a Big South-best 11 shutouts and a 0.55 goals against average…averaged 78.9 minutes per game during an eight-game stretch in which Longwood outscored opponents 15-3, went 6-1-1, and reached the Big South Championship game…scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory against rival Radford, netting the go-ahead strike in the 58th minute on a feed from Janese Quick…named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll…also a Longwood Scholar-Athlete.

2016: Named to the Big South All-Freshman Team after playing in 20 games with 7 starts as an outside midfielder and defender…played 947 minutes, putting two of her 12 shots on goal…played a career-high 97 minutes at High Point in an OT tie (10/12)…cracked the starting lineup early in conference play, starting six straight games…played at least 20 minutes in every game…played 90-plus minutes three times, including a 97-minute overtime marathon in a 0-0 draw against eventual Big South regular season champion High Point (10/12)...a Big South Presidential Honor Roll selection.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Cosby High School...as a junior netted 20 goals, including a pair in the conference championship win, en route to first team all-conference, all-region and all-state honors...also appeared on the Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro Team...a Top Drawer Soccer State All-Star Team selection...played club soccer for the Richmond Kickers Elite program, leading the squad to back-to-back State Cup Finals appearances as a freshman and sophomore...played for Richmond United ECNL as a junior and senior, captaining the team both years...four-year honor roll student...member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society...volunteered with TopSoccer and RVAccess.

Personal: Born Taylor Anne Alvey on Feb. 1, 1998...daughter of Mark and Leigh Ann Alvey...has two sisters, Ashley and Jenny...father, Mark, played golf at Morehead State University.
