NORMAN, Okla. — The Longwood men's golf team has earned the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award with Presidents Special Recognition, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Wednesday.

Longwood posted a 3.73 cumulative team GPA in 2025-26 to earn the honor. The Lancers have been cited by the organization all 18 years the award has been presented.

A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award.

Longwood is one of 155 schools to receive Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above in 2025-26.
