Ball State would gain another man advantage late in the 4th quarter, and the Cardinals would capitalize with a game-winning goal from Rachel Bohn.

WHAT THEY SAID:

"Unfortunately when you are given multiple cards in a game, it takes a toll on the play," said Longwood head coach Miranda Rigg following the loss. "I'm proud of the way we fought for everything we earned today."

"We had a lot of different people in new roles today and it was good to see them step up," Rigg mentioned in regards to changes to the lineup made today. "We need to be able to control the controllables. We had opportunities to win that game and we need to execute them."

"Every game is going to be a battle for us," said Rigg. "Our goal is to stick together as a team and come ready to play again."
