•The Lancers and Radford will play a three-game series with a single game Friday and a doubleheader Saturday, due to anticipated rain in the area Sunday. Saturday's doubleheader will start at 2 p.m.
•Longwood enters the weekend after falling in a midweek matchup at VCU, 5-4 in 13 innings. Going back to Sunday's game against Charleston Southern, the Lancers have played 23 innings in the last two games.

Cody Wager was named the Big South pitcher of the week Monday after flirting with a no-hitter, taking his no-no bid two outs into the eighth inning.

•Senior right-hander Cody Wager spun a career-high 7.1 innings of two-run ball and struck out career-high 10 batters at UNC Wilmington 3/11.
Wager was magical again with 10 strikeouts in 8.1 shutout innings vs. Charleston Southern 3/18 and came within four outs of a no-hitter.
•Longwood leads the Big South with 202 strikeouts on the season, 51 looking.
•Wager leads the Big South with 35 strikeouts and Potojecki is seventh at 28.
•Junior outfielder Sammy Miller has been great in the lead-off role, reaching base at a rate of .414 (12-for-29) when beginning an inning. Miller is second in the conference with 11 stolen bases and fifth with 17 runs scored. Miller is third in the league with 28 hits and fifth with seven doubles.
•Longwood has had huge rallies during the course of the season with 31 multi-run innings.

Scouting Radford
•Longwood and Radford meet for the second straight season.
•Longwood took two of three against Radford in 2016. The Lancers won on a walk-off single in the 10th inning by
Brandon Harvell in the first game of the series. Longwood took the second game, 5-4, to win the series.
•Radford enters the series tied with Longwood for third in the league with 114 runs scored.
•Radford has played a tough schedule, facing No. 9 North Carolina in a three-game series and midweek games against No. 19 Virginia Tech and Kent State in five consecutive games. Radford lost all five games, dropping each of the games against UNC and VT by just two runs.
•Radford is led in hitting by sophomore infielder Kyle Butler, who is third in the Big South with a .386 average.
•Sophomore infielder Matt Roth is eighth in the conference with a .351 average.
•Spencer Horwitz (.324) and Jonathan Gonzalez (.319) are each hitting better than .300 on the season. Gonzalez leads the team with three home runs.
