2018: Started 46 of 54 games in the outfield during senior season ... finished second on the team with 10 doubles ... hit .173 with 10 doubles, one triple, first two career home runs, 13 RBI, and 27 runs scored ... was 8-for-8 in stolen bases ... tied for second on the team with four outfield assists ... went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, one RBI, and two doubles against George Mason ... hit first career homer at Charleston Southern in 1-for-3 game (3/29) ... hit second home run at Charleston Southern in 1-for-4 day at the plate (3/30).

2017: Played in 53 games with 50 starts as a junior ... hit .276 with six doubles, two triples, and 18 RBI ... went 2-for-4 with a walk-off RBI single against Presbyterian (4/13) ... was fourth on the team with four multi-RBI games and sixth with 12 multi-hit games ... hit .314 in the month of April (16-for-51).
 
2016 (Indian Hills Community College): Appeared in 30 games with 17 starts … hit .215 with five RBI and 15 runs scored … put together four multi-hit games … had a season-long five-game hitting streak (3/3 to 3/20) … drew 13 walks and stole six bases in seven attempts.
 
2015 (Indian Hills Community College): Appeared in 24 games with 11 starts … hit .283 with six RBI and scored 11 runs … had three multi-hit games … was 2-for-2 in stolen bases.
 
High School: Lettered in baseball three years at Pella High School (Iowa) … received all-district and all-conference honors in baseball … hit .347 with 22 stolen bases as a senior … holds the school record for stolen bases … hit .357 and scored 29 runs as a junior … lettered three years in baseball and four times in track … set three track records and was a part of the 2013 Class 3A Iowa Track Championship team … events in track included the 400 meter sprint, the 200 meter sprint, and the 4x100 relay.
 
Academics: Majoring in psychology … plans to do neurodegenerative disease research and clinical work after graduating.
 
Personal: Born Ryan Nathanial Shull on June 8, 1995 … son of Darren and Tracey Shull … has three siblings: Braden, Payton, and Kellan … father, Darren, also played baseball at Indian Hills … brother, Braden, was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 27th round of the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft out high school … Braden signed with the Phillies and played two seasons with the rookie league GCL Phillies as a left-handed pitcher; was eligible to return to college due to never making it past rookie ball and pitched for Quincy University in 2016 after sitting out 2015 due to NCAA eligibility rules.
