Kaity Byrum|Suffolk (Lakeland) scored the lone goal for the Lancers (3-6) against the Tar Heels (7-1) in a match that was delayed 45 minutes due to lightning. Longwood returns to action on Saturday, September 24, when it hosts Liberty University at 12 p.m. at the Athletics Complex in Farmville.
