Michael Conway is in his first season as a graduate assistant for facilities and events at Longwood in 2025-26.
Conway comes to Farmville following a two-year stint beginning in October 2023 as a Quinn Buckner Intern at Indiana. With the Hoosiers, Conway was the lead game manager for five sports, including men's and women's tennis, men's and women's swimming & diving, women's soccer and women's water polo. In the role, Conway helped plan and execute over 60 successful athletics events in 2024-25.
Also at IU, Conway assisted in hosting the 2024 USA Diving Winter National Championships with over 150 athletes participating as well as helping prepare the Bloomington, Ind., campus to host both ESPN's College GameDay and FOX's Big Noon Kickoff football pregame shows.
As an athletics student worker at PennWest California from 2011-12 and 2016, Conway assisted the sports information office with in-game stats spotting duties for various sports, while also helping to coordinate logistics for events.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Conway has also served as a sales associate at Acrisure Stadium, home of the NFL's Steelers.
Conway holds a bachelor's degree in sport management from Southern New Hampshire, graduating in 2023.
