Justin Ratanataya is in his third season at Longwood in promoted to director of internal operations in November 2025.
Following graduation in May 2024 with a degree in communicating arts, he began in his current role as a graduate assistant.
Ratanataya, a Suffolk, Va., native, joined the Longwood women's basketball staff in the fall of 2020 as a student assistant coach/manager and was part of the 2021-22 Big South championship team, helping the team to a 22-12 record, which included a 74-70 NCAA tournament first-round victory over Mount St. Mary's.
Prior to his time in Farmville, Ratanataya was a four-year manager with the varsity boy's basketball team at Stone Bridge High School under the direction of head coach Ethan Walker.
He is currently pursuing a master's of business administration at Longwood.
