Evan Woodall is in his second season as Director of Social Media for the men's basketball program at Longwood after joining the men’s basketball staff in the fall of 2025, but has worked with the Lancers since 2022.
In his first season with the Lancer basketball staff, he directed the team’s social media efforts across all social media platforms. He helped chronicle a Lancer side that had a record of .500 or better for a fifth straight season, a mark not reached in decades.
Woodall spent the 2024-25 season designing social media and marketing collateral for various Longwood athletics teams, including men's and women's basketball, softball and men's and women's tennis, among others
A Burkeville, Va., native, Woodall began as an athletic events intern, assisting in many aspects of the execution of events on the Farmville campus. In January 2024, he became a graphic design, marketing and promotions intern. Woodall designed all videoboard content at the brand-new Joan Perry Brock Center, while also operating related software for men's and women's basketball games and other arena events.
Woodall is a 2024 Longwood graduate with a bachelor's degree in communications with a concentration in public relations.
