2015-16 (Senior): Posted a career-high tying six singles wins... earned his first victory in a Big South match against UNC Asheville at the No. 5 position... finished the regular season on a two-match win streak in matches versus Norfolk State and Chowan... secured match-clinching point against Norfolk St. on Senior Day with a 6-2, 6-3 singles win at the No. 5 flight...Longwood Scholar-Athlete recipient.

2014-15 (Junior): Tallied six wins, each coming at the No. 5 spot… ended year on four-match win streak vs. Norfolk St., Virginia Wesleyan, Hampton and Bridgewater… also won eight doubles matches at the No. 3 position with Rosen Ilchev.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Second-year team member … went 1-3 at the UVA Fall Invitational on Oct. 4-6 and at the University of Louisville Fall Invite on Nov. 1-3. 

2012-13 (Freshman): Completed the season 5-10 overall in singles and 2-11 overall in doubles … went 1-4 in Big South doubles action … finished third in Flight F with 1-2 record at UMW Kickoff Classic ... went 1-2 at the Elon Fall Invitational ... finished 1-3 at Wake Forest Fall Invite … Longwood Male Lancer Outstanding Service Award winner … Longwood Scholar-Athlete award.

High School: Played four years of tennis at Deep Run ... three-time Virginia High School League (VHSL) AAA State Champion ... senior captain in 2012 ... 2012 VHSL AAA Doubles State Champion ... four-time Academic All-District and All-Region ... Second-Team All-Metro in 2012 ... Beta Club member ... honor roll student.

Personal: Son of Sankar Ramachandran and Brinda Shankar ... taught at a tennis camp during the summer of 2013 … majoring in biology and computer science with a minor in chemistry.
