Biography

Coach Bolding: “Troy must make his mark this season as a starter by applying the game as taught by Coach McCullough, which means, to throw the ball over the plate batter after batter and avoid high pitch counts.  Only time will tell whether he has what it takes to perform sufficiently to offer his team the routine support which will enable it to win when he is pitching.”

2010: Third-year team member … will open as #2 in starting rotation … 2009: 3-1, 7.35 ERA, 52.2 innings pitched, 27 strikeouts (4.61) … made 15 appearances, starting 10 games … led pitching staff in winning percentage (.750) … had mid-season stretch of three  appearances covering 6.1 innings with a 2.84 ERA and three strikeouts (4.27) … 2008: 0-1, 8.74 ERA, 22.2 innings pitched, 16 strikeouts (6.35) … made 11 appearances, starting three games … had late-season stretch of three  appearances covering 5.1 innings with a 3.38 ERA and four strikeouts (6.75) … High School: Standout at Midlothian, 2004 District Champions … played for Lancer great Scott Hueston ‘97 … Personal: Son of Mark and Sondra Dickman … father played baseball at the University of Houston and professionally in the Toronto Blue Jays organization … Academics: Business management major.
