Coach Billy Daniels: “Jake had nagging injury issues last fall with a torn muscle, but recovered well and ended the fall strongly.  He will need to use his above average off-speed pitches, along with his great competitive nature on the mound this year.  Jake will be used in a variety of roles this year.”
