CARY, N.C. – The Longwood men's and women's cross country teams both finished inside the top 10 Friday at the adidas XC Challenge, with the women placing 9th and the men finishing 10th.
NOTABLE RESULTS:
Junior
Andrew Hathaway led the Lancers with a 62nd-place finish, crossing the line in 19:36.5. Freshman
Jonah Bowman was Longwood's second finisher, placing 81st in 20:04.80, while sophomore
Jaiden Santos-Nguyen finished 92nd at 20:25.0.
Senior
Clinton Clancy placed 96th with a time of 20:36.4, followed by sophomore
Sean Arjona, who rounded out the Lancers' scoring five in 98th at 20:37.2.
Longwood finished 10th as a team with 313 points and an average time of 20:15.98.
Junior
Andrew Rutherford finished 108th in 20:52.7, followed by freshman
Shane Myers in 109th at 20:53.2. Sophomore

Sydney O'Hara-Wood finished 72nd with a time of 19:10.2, while junior
Kirsten Morley crossed the finish line in 73rd at 19:10.6.
Junior
Madison Davis rounded out Longwood's scoring five, placing 82nd in 19:21.3. The Lancers finished ninth as a team with a total of 243 points and an average time of 18:57.1.
Senior
Priscilla Keller finished 86th at 19:32.1, followed by senior
