THE OPENING TIP
• Longwood wraps up its third two-game road trip in Big South play with a trip to Charleston Southern on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
• The Lancers are the only team in the Big South with three two-game road trips in Big South play.
• Longwood is sixth in the Big South, half a game behind UNC Asheville in fifth. Charleston Southern is in seventh in the league standings.
• The Lancers have two games remaining in the regular season. After playing at CSU on Saturday, Longwood returns home for the regular season finale against Radford on Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Joan Perry Brock Center.
• The Lancers have 10 home wins for a fifth straight season, the first time the team has done so since the 1985-86 through the 1989-90 season.
• The Big South Tournament, sponsored by the Air Force Reserve, runs from March 4-8 in Johnson City, Tennessee.
LAST TIME OUT
• Longwood held a halftime lead after an strong close to the first half, but Presbyterian stormed out after halftime, took the lead and won 72-65.
• Tristan Wilson had a career-high 28 points to lead the Blue Hose as Presbyterian hit 10 of its first 11 shots after halftime while also forcing 10 turnovers in the first 10 minutes to erase a 12-point Longwood halftime lead.

Elijah Tucker led Longwood in both halves, scoring 22 points to lead three Lancers in double figures.
Johan Nziemi added 13 points, and
Jacoi Hutchinson chipped in 10 points, all in the first half.

Jaylin Payne matched a career high with eight points, all in the first half, as Longwood held the Blue Hose to two field goals in the final eight minutes of the first half.
• However, Presbyterian's offense only missed six shots after halftime to flip the script.
