ROCK HILL, S.C. — Third-seeded Longwood senior Timéo Puech claimed a 7-6 (4), 6-4 decision over Bryant's No. 5 Miguel Angel Machado Sunday to win the 2025 Big South Conference Men's Tennis Individual Championship singles title at Rock Hill Tennis Center.

With the straight-set victory, Puech advances to the ITA Conference Masters Championship at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego Calif., on Nov. 6-9.

Four players from that event will earn a spot in the NCAA Individual Championship Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla.

Puech and junior Daniel Borisov, No. 2 seed, fell in the doubles final Sunday to top-seeded David Mamalat and Matija Samardzic from Presbyterian, 8-5.

The Lancers return to action next Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Pirate Hidden Duals, hosted by Hampton.
