ROCK HILL, S.C. — Longwood junior Feline van Eijkelenburg and freshman Bali Song won all three of their matches on the first day of the 2025 Big South Women's Tennis Individual Championship at the Rock Hill Tennis Center Friday.

The pair opened the day with an upset of the top doubles tandem of Laura Wipfli and Irene Cocero from NJIT, 8-3, to advance to the semifinals.

In singles, van Eijkelenburg then dispatched third-seeded Paula Menendez, also from NJIT, 1-6, 6-4, 6-1. Song also beat No. 2-seed Angelina Hug from UNC Asheville in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, to move on.
