THE OPENING TIP
•    Longwood plays its conference home opener on Saturday night when it hosts Charleston Southern.

•    Presbyterian had three hit double figures in the defensive struggle.
•    The game featured eight lead changes and six ties as the two teams traded runs back and forth.
•    Tucker scored 10 of his 20 in the first half as the Lancers took a 36-33 lead at the break.
•    Presbyterian responded after halftime with a run to take the lead, but Longwood, much as they have throughout Griff Aldrich's tenure, made a run to retake the lead with four minutes to play.
