• On Friday, Longwood dropped game one against the Spartans.
Willie Havens blasted his fourth home run of the season, but it was the only run that the Lancers were able to produce.
• Longwood took game two Saturday when they powered past the Spartans thanks to two big innings in the latter half of the game. The spark started with a solo shot from
Tanner Thomas, his first of the year. The Lancers then added runs thanks to three straight singles.
• Sunday the Lancers dropped the third game of the series to the Spartans. USC Upstate used a big sixth inning to pull away from Longwood. The Lancers fought back and threatened multiple times, but ultimately dropped the deciding game.
• Longwood currently sits fourth in the conference in batting average at .268.

Noah Campanelli is the league leader in the stolen bases at 32.
• The Lancers are still proving that they are not afraid when it comes to being hit by a pitch. They currently sit 15th in the country in HBP at 101.
