OPENING TIP
•    Longwood returns home to host USC Upstate on Wednesday night at the Joan Perry Brock Center.

LAST TIME OUT
•    A'lahn Sumler led Charleston Southern past Longwood on Saturday afternoon with a career best 34 points.
•    Sumler had 12 points in the first half before erupting for 22 points in the final 20 minutes.
•    Walyn Napper led Longwood with 21 points, and Elijah Tucker and Michael Christmas added 17 points apiece.
•    Emanuel Richards added 11 points, all after halftime, for the Lancers.
•    Charleston Southern jumped out to an early 15 point lead, but the Lancers slowly worked their way back into the game.
•    After halftime, Longwood trimmed the lead to 36-33, but Sumler and Quentin Bolton both hit big threes for CSU. 
•    Longwood again trimmed the deficit to three on a Tucker free throw, but CSU had the answer in the final to minutes to fend off the Lancers.

•    USC Upstate won the first meeting between the two teams this season by erasing a 14-point Lancer lead. Ahmir Langlais scored on a putback with 1.3 seconds to go to give Upstate a 73-71 lead and the win.
•    Jesper Granlund and DA Houston led Longwood with 13 points apiece, and Johnathan Massie added 12 while Szymon Zapala pitched in 11 in the game.
