•    The seven road wins also are tied for the team record at the Division I level, matching the seven road wins from a season ago when the team won the Big South Championship.
•    The team's 18 wins are the second most in program history at the Division I level.
•    The Lancers will finish above .500 in Big South play for a second straight season, also a program first at the Division I level.
•    Isaiah Wilkins was named the Big South Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 18 points per game in wins over Presbyterian and High Point.
•    The Lancers have guaranteed a finish above .500 for back-to-back seasons for the first time since  the 93-94 and 94-95 seasons.
•    Longwood will also finish with a conference record of .500 or better for a fourth straight season. It is the first time in program history the team has done so.

Last Time Out
•    Longwood earned its seventh road win of the season on Saturday with a 70-67 win at High Point.
•    The Lancers took a 37-29 lead into the half and extended it to double digits early in the second half.
•    High Point rallied and trimmed the lead to one possession late in the game, but Isaiah Wilkins, Walyn Napper and DeShaun Wade, along with the rest of the team, made the plays down the stretch to win.
•    Wilkins had a game-high 21 points for the Lancers, and Napper took a critical charge in the waning minutes. Wade snared an offensive rebound with the shot clock off before sinking two foul shots to give Longwood a four-point lead.

Quotable

"I'm really proud of this group. Any road win is a good road win. Obviously we'd love to win by 15 or 20 or whatever, but to weather the storm from High Point  and still come out with a W, I'm really proud of them. To be in a situation where we've got 10 conference wins and 18 wins on the year with four conference games left, this group has a lot to celebrate."
—Longwood Head Coach Griff Aldrich after the road win at High Point
