CLEMSON, S.C. – Six Clemson players scored double figures, led by Dayshanette Harris with 20, as the Tigers overpowered the Longwood women's basketball team, 102-63, at Littlejohn Coliseum Sunday.
 
The Tigers posted their highest-scoring quarter in history with 33 points in the opening 10 minutes and didn't look back.
 
Harris added five assists, three steals and two rebounds in just 17 minutes off the bench for Clemson (4-1). Ruby Whitehorn and Madi Ott registered 12 points each, while Nya Valentine (11 points) and Amari Robinson and Mackenzie Kramer (10 apiece) rounded out the Tigers in double digits.
 
Junior Kiki McIntyre paced Longwood (1-4) with 12 points on 4-for-7 shooting.
 
Graduate guard Anne-Hamilton LeRoy, who grew up just minutes from the Clemson campus in Seneca, S.C., tallied nine points – all in the second half – to go with three rebounds, three assists and a steal.

"Our program showed incredible fight in the second half," said Longwood head coach Erika Lang-Montgomry. "We were able to force some turnovers that allowed us to get some easy baskets. Also extremely proud of our offensive execution, 15 assists on 26 baskets really showed we were intentional about sharing the ball today."
 
Clemson shot 54.8 percent from the field (40-for-73) and hit 14 3-pointers. Longwood countered with a solid 42.6 percent and outscored the Tigers in the second half, 45-44, with the help of a 25-point fourth quarter.

The Tigers outrebounded Longwood, 45-27, and held a 46-30 advantage in points in the paint.
 
The Lancers are back in action Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Ohio. Game time at the Convocation Center is 7 p.m.
