• High Point's Skylar Curran's six treys and 24 points, negated Longwood senior Dayna Rouse's fourth double-double of the season and pulled away from the Lancers 76-69.
• Rouse led the Lancers offense with 24 points, shooting 66 percent from the court while grabbing a game-best 12 rebounds.
• Freshman Kyla McMakin and junior Tra'Dayja Smith joined Rouse in double-figures with McMakin scoring 12 of her 17 points in the second half, and Smith using a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line for 10 points
• High Point converted 13 treys to defeat the Lancers, but Longwood used their interior size to their advantage outscoring the Panthers 40-26 in the paint.Â

• Two Lancers rank in the top-five in the Big South in blocks per game. Sophomore Akila Smith (2.3) leads the conference, while Dayna Rouse (1.7) ranks No. 3 in the conference.Â
• Longwood is the only member of the Big South with two women ranking in the top-5 in scoring. Kyla McMakin is tied for the top spot averaging 16.8 points per game, while Dayna Rouse ranks third in the conference averaging 15.4 points per game.Â
• Tra'Dayja Smith is No. 7 in Division I averaging 6.3 assists per game and has entered triple-digits with her 100th assists of the season coming against High Point. Â
• Dayna Rouse leads the Big South in field goal percentage (.540) and ranks in the top-10 in scoring (15.4), rebounding (7.0), blocks (1.7), minutes (32.2), and free-throw percentage (.774).Â
• Scoring is not the only skill set Kyla McMakin brings to the Lancers. McMakin finds herself sixth in the Big South in steals averaging 2.1 steals per game.

• Longwood and Winthrop have traded wins and losses dating back to Jan. 26, 2016, when the Lancers strung together two consecutive victories over the Eagles. Â
