ROCK HILL, S.C. – After anticipated weather in the area moved the start of the series to a doubleheader Friday, the series finale at Winthrop has been pushed up one hour to a 2 p.m. first pitch Saturday at the Winthrop Ballpark.
Due to the threat of rain throughout the weekend, the three-game set at Winthrop was altered with the first two games taking place Friday. Originally scheduled for a 3 p.m. first pitch for Saturday, the series finale is now scheduled for a 2 p.m. start time.
Longwood (6-14, 1-4 Big South) will send out sophomore right-hander
Tyler Morgan (1-1, 7.16 ERA) to make a fourth consecutive appearance as a starter, opposite of Winthrop left-hander Jason Crumley (0-0, 3.27 ERA).
