LEADING OFF
• A week after taking a wild Big South series at UNC Asheville, Longwood returns to the Tar Heel state to face NC State in a three-game set.
• The series marks the opening stretch of Longwood's final five non-conference games as the Lancers will wrap up that portion of the schedule with midweekers at Richmond and Duke.
• Longwood and NC State have met just once, an 18-4 Wolfpack win in 2006.
• NC State is the second of three ACC foes for the Lancers this season. Longwood fell last week at Virginia and will face Duke in Durham in two weeks.
• Left fielder Kyri Washington was named the Big South Choice Hotels Player of the Week following his 8-for-16 week with nine RBI.
• Longwood will be looking for a bounce back on the mound after allowing 45 runs in four games last week.

BY THE NUMBERS
• 17 - Career saves by senior Aaron Myers who set the school record on Saturday at Asheville. The former closer bounced back after a Friday night loss to work a perfect ninth in earning his first save of the season.
• 71 - Stolen bases for the Lancers in 2015. The 71 swipes are the most by any Longwood squad in the Division I era.
• 9 - RBI in the past four games for left fielder Kyri Washington. The slugger also hit his career-high and team-leading ninth home run in Saturday's finale.
• 25 - Stolen bases for center fielder Colton Konvicka this season. The leadoff man has set a career-best with the 25 swipes this season, topping his 2014 total of 24.
• 14 - RBI for freshman Michael Osinski in the past 10 games. Osinski also leads the Lancers with 11 multiple RBI games this season.
• 19 - Strikeouts needed by Aaron Myers to tie Longwood's single-season record of 107. With at-least three starts left, the ace needs to average 7 K's per game to break the record.
