FARMVILLE, Va. – Rosen Ilchev and Jay Bradt earned the first singles victories of their respective careers and Dan Elston won his fourth straight match, as the Longwood men's tennis team picked up its second straight win, 7-0, over local foe Hampden-Sydney Wednesday at Lancer Courts.

"Overall, we competed hard this week and after a day of rest tomorrow we're looking forward to getting back to Big South competition this weekend," Perry said.

"It was good to see Rosen and Jay get the first college singles wins of their career," Perry said. "They've been working hard and deserved it."

At the top of the lineup, Elston didn't drop a single game in his match for the second straight day, as he earned a 6-0, 6-0 win over Weaver.
