Game NotesThe Opening Tip• The Lancers play the second of four straight road games Saturday at Gardner-Webb. Saturday's contest marks the final game in a four games in eight days stretch for Longwood.
• The Lancers will conclude the 2014-15 regular season with five of their final seven games on the road. •
Emily Nylen has become a force for Longwood on the defensive end of the floor, as the 6-5 sophomore is fourth in conference play with 2.00 blocks per game.

Raven Williams ranks among the top 15 in the Big South this season in points (14.2), assists (3.18), steals (1.55), three-point field goals per game (1.74) and three-point shooting percentage (.311).
Last Time Out• Despite a career-high 25 points from junior
Raven Williams, UNC Asheville (7-16, 6-8) gutted out an 88-77 double overtime victory over Longwood Thursday night in a mid-week conference game at Kimmel Arena.
• Despite injuries and adversity, the Lancers held an 11-point advantage with less than five minutes remaining. However, missed free throws down the stretch along with a pair of clutch three pointers from Shonese Jones brought Asheville even with the Lancers to force overtime.
• Williams was a big reason for the lead, as she was dominant at times in the second period in leading her squad with 17 second half points on 6-of-12 shooting and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc.
By The Numbers• Longwood has been successful shooting the three this season, as the Lancers have made at least four three-point field goals in each game they've played. Longwood hit a season-high 11 three-point field goals at Presbyterian
• The Lancers have played a total of five schools from a power five conference this season — Wake Forest, Florida, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Clemson. The five games against the power five is the most of any team in the Big South this season.

Raven Williams has been Longwood's top threat from beyond the arc this season, as she is ranked fourth in the conference with 1.64 treys per contest.
• Williams is the only player to rank among the top five in the Big South in scoring (16.2 PPG) and assists (3.50) during conference play.

Emily Nylen has climbed into the top 10 in blocked shots in the Big South this season. Nylen is sixth in the league averaging 1.39 blocks per game and is fourth in conference play with 2.00 blocks per game.

Brenna Robbins notched three straight games in double figures for the first time in her career prior to Longwood's loss at Campbell on Saturday. The sophomore scored 12 points at Presbyterian and topped the effort with a 14-point outing Saturday against Charleston Southern. and poured in 17 points against Winthrop.

Scouting Gardner-Webb• Gardner-Webb dropped its most recent game at home to Liberty Thursday night, 61-48.
• Gardner-Webb is 2-5 in its past seven games, but has won two of its past three contests.
• Olivia Parker is the leading scorer for the Runnin' Bulldogs, averaging 12.1 points per contest. In conference play, Parker is averaging 12.6 points per contest.
