TigerCastThe Opening Tip • Longwood plays its second straight game against an ACC opponent, as the Lancers travel to Clemson.
• The contest against the Tigers marks the fourth ACC opponent that Longwood has played this season, as the Lancers have already played games at Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Virginia.
• Eight of Longwood's first 10 game are on the road this season. The Lancers played their first home game against UNCG on Monday, Nov. 24, before hosting UNC Asheville on Dec. 14. The Lancers will play consecutive games inside Willett Hall for the first time this season on Dec. 22 against George Mason and Dec. 28 against Gardner-Webb.
Last Time Out• Longwood was defeated Tuesday against ACC foe Virginia, 91-49, inside John Paul Jones Arena.
• Virginia asserted forward Sarah Imovbiah early and the senior responded with a season-high 25 points to go along with 15 rebounds.

Raven Williams scored in double figures for the second straight game and for the fifth time in the past seven games, as the Richmond, Va., product poured in 15 of her 18 points in the first half. Williams knocked down 4-of-6 three-pointers in the opening 20 minutes and led all scorers at the break.
By The Numbers• Longwood has been successful shooting the three this season, as the Lancers have made at least four three-point field goals in each game they've played. Longwood hit a season-high eight treys in the contest at Richmond.
• The Lancers will play a total of five schools from a power five conference this season — Wake Forest, Florida, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Clemson. The five games against the power five is the most of any team in the Big South this season.

Raven Williams has been Longwood's top threat from beyond the arc this season, as she is ranked sixth in the conference with 1.78 treys per contest. Williams also leads the Lancers and ranks in the top 15 in the Big South with 2.56 assists per game. She has 23 dimes this season.
• Longwood has used a total of four different starting lineups this season.
• This season marks the 99th season for Longwood women's basketball, as the Lancers have a record of 566-542 since 1970. The Lancers officially made the jump to Division I for the 2007-08 season and are 61-122 in those seven seasons. Prior to making the jump to Division I, Longwood made four NCAA Division II Tournaments (1995, '96, '97, '03).

Scouting Clemson• Clemson heads into Friday's contest with a 5-5 record this season. The Tigers have played well inside Littlejohn Coliseum, as the squad remains undefeated with a 5-0 record.
• Clemson will be playing its first game in six days, as the Tigers posted a 72- 67 come-from-behind victory against North Dakota on Dec. 13. The Tigers trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half before holding UND scoreless over the final five minutes of the game.
• Clemson has three players averaging in double figures this season. The Tigers are led by Nikki Dixon, who averages 15.0 points per game. In addition, Nyilah Jamison-Myer (11.7) and Shelbie Davenport (10.1) are averaging more than 10 points per contest. Jamison-Myer is also the top rebounder for the Tigers, grabbing 7.0 boards per contest.
• Longwood and Clemson have each already played a game against UNC Greensboro this season. The Lancers were defeated by the Spartans, 70-64, while Clemson defeated UNCG, 80-51.
