BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Longwood University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Brown University (7-1) Saturday afternoon in a neutral-site match in Blacksburg, Virginia. Sophomore 
Marc Ferrigno|Hvidovre, Denmark (Brondby Gymnasium) and freshman 
Jimmy Davis|Manassas (Stonewall Jackson) won the only match for the Lancers (2-3) at No. 1 doubles 8-6. Longwood will travel to Richmond on Thursday, March 3 at 3 p.m. to face the University of Richmond.
In the other two doubles matches, the duo of senior 
Milo Barajas-Alexander|Arlington (Bishop O'Connell) and freshman 
Edward Becker|Sydney, Australia (Manly Selective Campus) lost at the No. 2 position, 8-5, while freshman 
Crescente Lesser|Santiago, Chile (La Reina) and junior 
Nobu Tanaka|Potomac, Md. (St. Johns College HS) also fell 8-5 to their No. 3 opponents.
In singles, Tanka lost at No. 1 6-2, 6-3, while Ferrigno fell 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 slot. Lesser dropped a 7-6, 6-1 decision at No. 3, and Davis went down by scores of 6-2, 6-4. At No. 5, Barajas-Alexander lost 6-3, 6-1 and Becker lost 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6.
