FARMVILLE, Va. - The Longwood University women's tennis team dropped its first match of the spring season, falling to Campbell University 7-0 on Friday afternoon on Lancer Courts in Farmville. Senior
Laura Simon/Barcelona, Spain (IES Lluis de Peguera) and
Hannah Hill/Portsmouth (Western Branch) picked up a win at #3 doubles. The Lancers return to action on Saturday, February 20, when they travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to take on Winston-Salem State University at 1 p.m..

Zsofia Jakab/Minusio, Switzerland (Lices Cantonale Locarns) fell at #1 (0-6, 1-6), Simon lost at #2 (4-6, 3-6), freshman
Marta Pinyol/Barcelona, Spain (IESM Ferran Tallada) fell at #3 (7-9), senior
Mason Davis/Richmond (Collegiate School) lost at #4 (6-3, 2-6, 5-7), Hill fell at #5 (5-7, 6-2, 0-6) and freshman
Allison Shulman/Richmond (Deep Run) lost at #6 (7-5, 0-6, 2-6).
Simon and Hill won at #3 doubles (8-1). Davis and Shulman fell at #1 (3-8) and Jakab and Pinyol lost at #2 (2-8)
