Billups posted back-to-back double-doubles in the last two games against Marshall (21p, 14r) and High Point (16p, 12r). Longwood is shooting 34.6% from the floor, including 26.1% from behind the arc, and 65.8% from the foul line.
A Look At Virginia
Virginia is 2-1 on the year and coming off an 85-73 loss at #4 Tennessee last Thursday. The Cavaliers are led by head coach Debbie Ryan and Ariana Moorer (18p) and Whitney Edward (11.3p). Chelsea Shine is averaging a team-best seven rebounds per game. Virginia is shooting 44% from the field, including 40.5% from behind the arc, and 63% from the foul line.
Against the ACC
Longwood has three games this season against teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Lancers went 0-3 against the ACC last season and has rematches scheduled with Virginia, Virginia Tech and Maryland. Longwood is a combined 7-15 against those three schools and 8-20 against current ACC-members all-time.
