BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Longwood University dropped a 7-0 women's tennis road decision at #60 Virginia Tech of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Wednesday night in Blacksburg. The Lancers are now 0-3 this season, while the Hokies improved their record to 2-0. Longwood is not scheduled to play again until February 22, hosting Winston-Salem State University at the Lancer Courts in Farmville beginning at 1 p.m..
At nationally-ranked Virginia Tech, Longwood dropped all six singles matches while also swept in the doubles contests. Competing for the Lancers were junior

Eileen Sullivan at #6 (0-6, 0-6). In doubles, Simon and Jakab fell at #1 (2-8), Esguerra and Melson fell at #2 (0-8), and Moadab and Sullivan lost at #3 (0-8).
