RICHMOND, Va. -- Longwood University dropped a 6-1 men’s tennis decision at the University of Richmond Tuesday afternoon. The Lancers are now 4-11 this season, while the Spiders improved to 13-6. Longwood will play again Wednesday, April 6, at Liberty University in Lynchburg beginning at 1:30 p.m..
At Richmond of the Atlantic 10 Conference, Longwood won one of the six singles matches as standout sophomore Rashko Patnikov/Bankya, Bulgaria (Smirnenski) earned a victory at #1 (6-7, 6-2, 10-2).
